For the person who gets asked "how do we compare?" and has to answer by Friday. One user, every figure.
Who it is for
HR analysts, D&I leads, reward specialists and consultants who benchmark Japanese employers, and the ESG analysts, researchers and journalists who need the figures in one place, in English.
What people use it for
- Benchmark a company against its real peers."Our share of women managers is 12%. Is that good?" Against the median listed company (9.1%) it looks fine. Against its own industry it may not: the median insurer reports 20.5%, the median steelmaker 2.6%. The dashboard places any company within its industry and size band, by percentile.
- Get ahead of the April 2026 disclosure.Employers with 101 or more staff must now publish the gender pay ratio and the share of women managers. Find your Japan entity's industry and size band among about 36,000 unlisted employers and see where your figures will land before anyone else does.
- Compare a foreign subsidiary with other foreign subsidiaries. For leadership gender, the Japanese median is the wrong yardstick: foreign-owned subsidiaries clear it easily. The 354 confirmed foreign-owned employers are flagged with their parent and home country, so you can benchmark against the right group.
- Check a company before you deal with it.Three years of each listed company's gender figures, every subsidiary its holding company reports, and a note wherever we corrected a filing. Useful for due diligence, a client pitch, or a partner you are about to sign with.
- Build the slide.Excel with a ready-made dashboard sheet, the same data as CSV, and every figure sourced to its filing.

- Can my colleagues use my login?
- Professional is for one person. For a team, Company covers up to ten users in the same organisation.
- Where do the figures come from?
- Listed companies: their annual securities reports, filed with the Financial Services Agency through EDINET. Unlisted employers: the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's women's-advancement database, where every employer with 101 or more staff must post its figures. Both are self-reported; we check them and note every change.
- How current is the data?
- We refresh it as each year's reports are filed. Each company's figures come from its latest report, so they may be up to a year old; the dashboard shows the filing date for every company.
