Your Global Sourcing Stack, Meet Japan

LinkedIn's Japan audience looks like 6 million. Search its own recruiter tool for professionals with 8 to 28 years' experience and you find 760,000. Here's what works, what doesn't, and what Japan uses instead.

A client asked me a simple question recently: does ZoomInfo work in Japan?

The honest answer is "partly, and probably not enough to pay for". But the question behind it is bigger, and I hear it often from regional and global talent teams. They have built a sourcing stack that works in New York, London or Berlin. When they open a search in Tokyo, they want to know how much of it still works.

So we checked: the main job boards, AI sourcing tools and contact-data platforms used in the US and Europe, then the Japanese platforms that do the work instead. We started with the number global teams quote most, and it turned out to be the wrong one.
